Dr. Tong has been a board-certified veterinary surgeon for 12+ years. During this time, Dr. Tong has been both an in-house Chief of Surgery as well as a mobile surgeon, servicing numerous hospitals around the Bay Area. Dr. Tong has been a strong presence in the San Francisco, Bay Area, community and is providing the highest level of care to his patients.

Dr. Tong is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, placing him among a select group of highly trained veterinary surgeons. With over 12 years of experience—including serving as chief of surgery and building his own mobile surgery practice—he brings advanced expertise in soft tissue, orthopedic, and oncologic procedures. He is committed to working closely with the San Francisco, Bay Area, community, providing seamless collaboration and the confidence of having a trusted surgeon on your team.

San Francisco’s only board-certified surgeon offering both in-house and mobile surgery services. This means that if your pet requires surgery, it can be done either with us in our facility, or with your primary veterinarian at theirs.
